NPP Group backs 'four more for Nana' mantra

The umbrella body for NPP youth in the various Zongos in the country have declared support their support for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ahead of the 2020 elections.

According to the group, the government has exceeded expectations with its policies and deserve another term.

They also praised Akufo-Addo for making Vice President Bawumia a key figure in his administration.

As Muslim and people from the Zongos across the country, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the President, Nana Akuffo Addo once again nominating Dr. Bawumia as his running mate.

As the president, you have changed the recent narrative of the roles, thus the recognition and relevance of the vice presidency. Dr. Bawumia has had your fullest support and recognition as running mate and as a vice president.

He is clearly seen as the 'number 2' in government and obviously, never have you as a president compromised or understimated his status in the government you head.

Unlike the other president in our recent past, whose vice president was appropriatly the 'number 6 or 7' in government, it is refreshing how much boundless doors you have opened for Dr. Bawumia as a vice president.

Your remarkable relationship with the vice president, Dr. Bawumia is something we admire greatly and we pray this will serve as a template for successive leadership of our country.

You have demostrated openly the extent to which you treasure and respect the status of Dr. Bawumia.

Similarly, Dr. Bawumia has exhibited fully the true Muslim and Zongo doctrines by honoring who you are and what you stand for.

Indeed, your beautiful relationship is a template for us to follow.

Also, with this healthy relationship, it does not amaze us that, though you inherited mess and a collapsed economy,but, your government has made these great and unprecedented strides in our economy, education, industrialization, agriculture and others sectors in our country development on your recent declaration of Dr. Bawumia as your running mate for the next election.

The Muslims and Zongo caucus as a unit, accepts the offer and also want to assure you that, we are poised to renew your mandate as president to do more of the remarkable achievements in the last three years.

To conclude,we want to commend you for your remarkable commitment you have exhibited throughout your stay in office as the president in developing our Zongo communities.

Also, we wish you another victory as you have submitted your presidential nomination form to seek the mandate of the delegates to lead the party in 2020.

We are much certain that delegates will give you an overwhelming endorsement.

We are much aware that Ghanaian's have appreciated your good work and ready to add you four more years to do more.
