The Supreme Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Dr Hassan Ayariga wants Ghanaian electorate to look beyond the two major political parties in the country, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He said the two parties continue to give the country bad leadership and the better the citizenry come to the realization the two have nothing to offer them, the better for its development in the future.
“I think that we have wrong leaders and we have been voting the wrong leaders. The two political parties have the numbers but they do not have the leaders. Their leadership is like who is the next not who is the best. If you are the president and you are going out, it should be the Vice President to continue and if it is not the Vice President, there is a problem. But to say let us look at the leaders and pick the best leader who we think can manage our affairs we do not want. Once we think you are the best leader and not NDC or NPP, you cannot be president”, he disclosed in an exclusive interview with mynewsgh.com.
According to him, until the mindset of Ghanaians is changed from this, the country will continue to face the same problems like in time past.
“Let us focus on electing best leaders and not who is next because Ghana needs to good leaders to run the affairs and develop it but if we continue to switch from NDC and NPP, we will remain where we are”, he added.
