Information available to Peacefmonline.com from Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti region indicates that the sitting MP, Daniel Okyem Aboagye, has been caught sharing money to delegates.
According to reliable reports received, the MP invited some delegates to his office and gave each of them GH¢2,000.
"At 11 pm Friday night, Okyem Aboagye went to Mary Donkor’s house together with Elizabeth Gyebi and gave each delegate GH¢2,000 and his campaign booklet," an eyewitness said.
It continued that the two women refused his money but the MP still left the envelops there.
Further reports state that the women have sworn not to touch the money.
The incumbent MP is contesting with Deputy Chief of Staff, Francis Asenso-Boakye.
