NPP Primaries: Bawumia's 'journey to victory' hits the Oti Region

Former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, is continuing his nationwide campaign tour in the Oti Region today, Friday, November 6, 2025.

Dr Bawumia has been on the road in the past three months, engaging with NPP party stakeholders in different phases of his campaign, and in his latest phase, which began about a month ago, the former Vice President has been engaging deeply with grassroots members of the NPP at the constituency level.

So far, the tireless Bawumia has covered constituencies in the Bono, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Western Regions, and the Oti Region marks his next stop of the campaign, which has been dubbed "our journey together."

The former Vice President is expected to tour three constituencies today: Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru and Krachi East, respectively.

Bawumia’s constituency-based campaign has attracted massive enthusiasm among party members and open declarations of support, emphasising his position as the overwhelming favourite to be elected the NPP's Flagbearer for the 2028 election.

The party will go to the polls on January 31, 2026, to elect its presidential candidate.
