NPP Washington Pleads with Prez Aspirants

Stop attacking each other

Nana Okogyeadwa Nti Yeboah, the acting Chairman of the N.P.P Washington D.C Metropolitan Chapter, has advised the Party's Presidential Aspirants to refrain from using Provocative language, negative campaign tactics and desist from dishing out money feverishly to mar the N.P.P's hard won reputation but rather win more supporters to the Party.

"Let us all be United ,Commited, Dedicated, have Vision of winning the 2008 General Elections hands down, by working hard as a one family since attacking personalities will not help us in any way, but rather it create unnecessarily tension, division and mis-understanding among us "Nana Nti Yeboah said this when he was speaking at a Colorful Cook-Out ,organized by the N.P.P's Washington D.C Metropolitan Chapter, last week- end at the Braddock Park in Alexandria a a suburb in Virginia.

Nana Nti Yeboah noted that the cook-out was organized to energize the members for the 2008 General Elections and also to draw the member’s attention of the 2008 Elections that is ahead of us and it needs us to work as team and map out strategies that will seal the mouth of the noisy N.D.C for good. He advised that since the coming elections is very serious to the N.P.P. and urged all the members to wake up from their Slumber and be very active in all they are doing for the Party by Preaching the good work of the Kuffour led NPP administration.

Occasion was impressed by the great turn out for the cook-out and appealed to members to make a donation to the flood victims of the 3 Northern regions of Ghana since it is a very unfortunate situation at home. " Ghana has achieved tremendous economic and Political success under the Government of N.P.P and never in the history of Ghana has dear Country been so well looked upon by the rest of the World and it is therefore in the interest of the Ghanaians that N.P.P succeeds itself in the coming 2008 Elections" Mr. Boateng noted.

Madam Akosua Busia, the 2ND Vice Chair person stressed that gone are the days when women were viewed as home makers, house wives, or kitchen experts and so many women have proved that they can also help build the Nation and plays roles in the modern world..

"The time has come for women to rise up and take off from where the men have failed, women should organize themselves and put their weight behind the N.P.P. There is strength in numbers and therefore I am urging all the women to do more positive things that would attract others into the fold of N.P.P ,since the better would be for us----Power to the Women.
