Pollster Ben Ephson has taken a swipe at members of the New Patriotic Party, describing them as masters of internal implosion.
According to the editor of the daily dispatch newspaper, the elephant family appear to fight among itself only in crucial moments.
“I think that the NPP have become masters of imploding at a very crucial time,” Ephson told Nii Arday Clegg on the Morning Starr Friday.
The political strategist was commenting on the rancor in the opposition party following the suspension of its national chairman Paul Afoko.
The National Executive Body of the NPP has suspended Afoko accusing him of actions inimical to the fortunes of the party.
Scores of his supporters Thursday thronged the party’s headquarters demanding his reinstatement. His spokesperson has described the suspension as an illegality which must be reversed.
