According to the national campaign manager of the party Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, this makes up Mr. Kufour’s first tour of these areas, leaving the party with a lot more to do. The NPP, believes while it is a long way to the December elections it still has a very short time to complete it’s campaign. Assessing the extent of the party’s campaign, he maintains that they have a lot more to do in carrying the message of radical positive change to the electorate, particularly in the rural areas.

Alongside its desire for the presidency the party is seriously eyeing a majority in parliament to enable subscribers to its manifesto drive it forward.
