Accra, Oct. 4, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Tuesday sent its greetings to Muslims of Ghana as they embark on a month-long fasting and cleansing through prayers. A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Harona Esseku, National Chairman of NPP, said the Ramadan was indeed a period during which the Muslims asked for the forgiveness of sin and showed love towards one another for the overall good of mankind. It said it was the hope of the NPP that Muslims would take advantage of this holy month to pray for peace, love and understanding among all the people for the smooth development of the nation.
