A leading contender for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has assured party delegates of his desire to institute a certificate of service for past executives, whose commitment and sacrifice brought the NPP this far.

Addressing delegates as part of his campaign tour of the Greater Accra region, Mr. Agyepong said, “the time has come for us to honour and sustained the NPP as the vibrant political party in Ghana”.

He believes the experience of all past leaders will be needed in the lead-up to the 2016 elections.

Mr. Agyepong urged delegates to massively endorse his candidature as he has the institutional memory to administer the party and unite it for an effective campaign so as to deliver Ghanaians from the current hardship.

The tour took him to the Ada, Sege, Ningo Prampram, Kpone Katamanso, Ashaiman, Tema East, Tema West and Tema Central constituencies.
