Sources close to the harbour security corridors, revealed that the two women who alleged that they were coming from Abossey Okai have gone to the Port about a month ago to enquire from Custom, Excise and Preventive Service officials (CEPS) about how to obtain auction items.

According the source, the CEPS officers advised them to go and purchase a copy of the gazette from where they could obtain all information on goods to be auctioned.

Determine to carry out their master’s dirty assignment, one of the undercover agents who gave her name as Mami Esi but later uncovered as Jennifer Anderson on Wednesday, 11 August, 2010 got to a restricted area and secretly started filming and recording officers of CEPS on duty. Incidentally, CEPS officers who were not enthused recollected that Jennifer was visiting the terminal in the company of another woman by name Mami Afua. When quizzed about the where about of her counterpart Mami Afua, she lied that she had not seen her that day but when a call was put through to her partner, it came to light that mami Afua was hiding in the administration block of the Golden JubileeTerminal.
