NPP supporters advised to close their ranks

Sefwi-Anwiaso (W/R), April 6, GNA - Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been urged to bury their differences and remain united as the party seeks to regain power. Mr. Ben Ali, an activist of the Party, who made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Sefwi-Anwiaso, said a divided house could not stand and reminded NPP activist that factionalism could cost them.

Sefwi-Anwiaso (W/R), April 6, GNA - Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been urged to bury their differences and remain united as the party seeks to regain power. Mr. Ben Ali, an activist of the Party, who made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Sefwi-Anwiaso, said a divided house could not stand and reminded NPP activist that factionalism could cost them. "I am worried that some supporters have started struggling and agitating as to who should become our next flag bearer", he said, adding that well-meaning supporters should commit resources towards mobilizing supporters at the grassroots. Supporters should work hard to build on the internal structures of the Party to make them formidable to wrest power from the National Democratic Congress. Mr. Ali called on Ghanaians to be supportive of President Mills to enable him stabilize the economy. 06 April 09
