NPP to boycott State of the Nation address

Peacefmonline.com can report that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will not be attending President John Dramani Mahama’s State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Thursday, February 21.

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, confirmed on Kumasi-based Hello FM that the party will boycott the event.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame and Minority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, had earlier indicated on the same platform that the party executives were yet to make a decision on the matter.
