Mr. Kwamena Ahwoi, the Director of Research of the main opposition party, the NDC, has said that the strategy of the NPP is to make it impossible for the NDC as an opposition party to operate.
He also said that the remand in custody of some NDC supporters in Kumasi was “the signal for a new awakening for us to stand up and be like the men and women we have been known to be and to tell the government in very plain language that they may be playing with fire if they push us too far”.
Mr. Ahwoi’s comments were part of his address at the launching of NDC’s philosophy and ID cards in Accra last week.
