Osei Assibey Antwi is a former Director-General of the National Service Authority
Lawyers for former National Service Authority (NSA) Director-General Osei Assibey Antwi have challenged documents filed by the prosecution in his trial over the alleged ghost names scandal.
In an update shared on the X page of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team on October 26, 2026, the defence argued that the pages were out of sequence and asked the court to order the prosecution to withdraw and refile the documents.
The court maintained that the prosecution had complied with its earlier orders and properly numbered the documents.
It said the defence could raise any further concerns when the prosecution seeks to tender them during the trial.
The case management conference proceeded despite an initial request by the counsel for Assibey Antwi to adjourn the sitting.
The prosecution took the court through the documents it had filed, the witnesses it intends to call and the exhibits they are expected to rely on to prove its case.
After nearly two hours of proceedings, the court adjourned the case management conference to Monday, November 2, 2026, for completion.
Assibey Antwi is facing charges arising from alleged financial irregularities at the NSA, including claims involving payments to non-existent national service personnel and money laundering
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
