Nana Aba Anamoah and Hon Aponkye
Host of GhOne’s state of Affairs, Nana Aba Anamoah, has descended on her colleague journalists who criticised her for hosting then Assemblyman hopeful for Adukrom Nima in the Ashanti region, Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampim on her show but have now gone ahead to interview him days after.
Shaming their hypocritical act via her Twitter handle, Nana Aba described her colleagues as a “shameless condescending bunch”, who after claiming she stoop low by hosting the ambitious “Honourable Aponkye” are going about chasing the defeated candidate for interviews.
In the run-up to the December 17, Local Level Elections, videos of Hon Aponkye campaigning on promises such as the provision of free breakfast and jobs for his constituents went viral on social media.
Following this Nana Aba Anamoah, had a chat with him on her show where he re-emphasised and elaborated his campaign promises.
She was criticised by several people including media persons who said the aspiring candidate's acts could pass for comic relief and did not merit her platform.
But the unreserved media personality has hit hard at journalists who criticised her but are now going after her guest for interviews due to the rise in his popularity, even though he lost the contest.
