Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his campaign ahead of the 2016 general elections will be formally launched soon.
He said it will be launched “after the necessary consultations have been concluded”.
Nana Addo made this known on Thursday, October 23, when he formally announced Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate again for the elections.
Nana Addo was handed a third mandate to lead NPP on Saturday, October 18 after winning the party’s presidential primary.
“I am happy to inform you that the process of co-operation after competition, which Alan Kyerematen aptly described on Saturday night at Efua Sutherland Children’s Park as being at the heart of the NPP tradition, is in full swing.”
The two are scheduled to be at the Central Mosque on Friday, October 24 to pray with the Chief Imam and will hold an interdenominational service on November 4.
