Nana Addo will not win the elections - Asiedu Nketiah

General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Chairman of the party's campaign team, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said there will be no need for him to waste time to campaign for President Mahama if claims by some pundits that Nana Addo will win the elections was true.

According to him, Nana Addo is living in a wonderland and has failed to see clearly from the signs that he is bound to lose the elections for the third time.

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah who was speaking to Kwame Tutu, host of Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, said he would have withdrawn from the campaign team if Mahama's chances of winning were slim.

The achievements under the Mahama led administration he explained will speak volumes to the electorates because these achievements are unprecedented and remarkable.

He made mockery of claims by the NPP that, the NDC have nothing to account for over the last three and half years in office.

He opined, the evidence of Mahama's achievements cannot be disputed.

Meanwhile the Economic Intelligence Unit has yet again predicted victory for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2016 elections, this time, a convincing one.

The Unit in April released a report of a survey that suggested that the NPP would win the upcoming elections by a close margin.

But according to a new report released by the Unit, the presidential candidate of the elephant family will turnout victors with a wide margin.

According to the report, the adverse economic conditions in the country is likely to cost the NDC.

However the chief scribe of the NDC, says, government has taken prudent measures to resolve the challenges.

''If I know that Nana Addo would win the elections, i will stop campaigning. But i know for sure that Nana Addo cannot and would not win the elections. Nana Addo would not win, so i will continue to campaign,'' Johnson Asiedu Nketiah posited.
