Jacob Osei Yeboah, an independent presidential candidate in the 2016 presidential elections has revealed that the clandestine activities of certain personalities around the president are taking the steam off the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to the politician cum engineer, the behavior of certain people around the president is taking a toll on the swag of the president. He says these activities are making the president to whiter away more in spite of his old age.
He says these individuals have turned the Flag Staff House into a hub for siphoning money from unsuspecting business people who genuinely want to have audience with the president. He said on two occasions, he was denied the opportunity to see the president even though he had booked an appointment with the office.
He said the activities around the presidency will spell doom for the president sooner or later. I can see these activities around the president is taking the shine off him, this is not the Nana Addo we know he stressed. He noted that the president is worried about the activities of certain personalities around his presidency.
I went to the Flag Staff House with a delegation from Germany to meet with the president. And I was refused access to see him by these same personalities who are bent on making fortunes out of these visits to the presidency.
Mr. Yeboah made this revelation on the Accra –based Happy FM show dubbed “Epa Hoa Daben’ hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah. According to him, the boys around the presidency are creating major problems for the president and their illicit activities are taking the swag off the president.
I saw the president on television with members of Trades’ Union Congress (TUC) and I most wept for him because his swag is gone! People are bent on doing things that will bring his government down in no time he noted.
He said the likes of A-plus and the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyepong are only yearning to see the Nana Addo’s reign survive hence their posture of speaking about the ills in the government openly to alert him (Nana Addo).
When I went to the Flag Staff House and I was refused access to see the president because sums of money did not exchange hands; A-plus saw me stranded at the seat of government. He said he won’t lie about this and that he (A-plus) has gone ahead to confirm this to Accra-Based Okay FM.
