National Drivers Academy Partners Aqua Vitens To Train Drivers

Aqua Vitens Rand Limited {avrl} has contracted the National Drivers Academy to train over 200 of the company’s drivers across the nationwide; beginning this week.

The move, which will see AVRL’s driver staff trained and equipped with the technical expertise and know-how of the latest driver training software is aimed at improving on the skills of AVRL’s driving staff as well as ensuring that they effectively deliver water supply on time and without encountering any road accidents.

This was made known at the launch of the 8 week training program at the Weija plant of AVRL. Speaking at the launch, Mr. Frank Asare, Director of the National Drivers Academy, stated that, the NDA is pleased to partner with AVRL in training their drivers nationwide. He commended Aqua Vitens for the move and urged other corporate organisations to endeavour to equip their staff, especially the company drivers, with the right know-how of the latest software in driving today in order to reduce accidents on our roads.

On his part, Mr. Stanley Martey, Communications Manager of Aqua Vitens Rand Limited, urged the drivers to pay attention to the new methods of training they would undergo and ensure that, they make the most out of this all important training program.

The training program will be carried out by the National Drivers Academy{NDA}; the government agency set up as a response by Government to show support and commitment to reducing crashes on commercial roads and to make roads safer using driver education. The drivers to undergo this nationwide training will benefit from the new technology and advanced software employed by the NDA to teach drivers the best and safest ways to ply our roads in order to prevent accidents.

The National Drivers Academy {NDA} is supported by a²om International and Driver Metrics (Cranfield University), renowned organisations in the field of research, driver education and behaviour, with a formidable and seasoned team of experts have demonstrated a willingness to deliver the knowledge and the ‘vaccines’ to cure the madness on our roads.
