Accra, Nov. 25, GNA - Mr Ludwig Hlodze, National Youth

Organiser of the ruling National Democratic (NDC) Congress, has

said the Tertiary Education Institution Network [TEIN] would be

positioned as a catalyst to galvanize support for the party on

campuses across the nation through intellectual discourse. He said this would enable the youth in NDC to appraise views

expressed by member institutions on various party and national

issues raised at forums during the just ended regional tours by the

National Youth Organiser and his deputies. Mr Hlodze said this initiative would be out-doored on Friday at

Winneba Sports College on the theme: "Better Ghana Agenda,

Rejuvenating our structures with discipline and Volunteerism for

Victory 2012". Mr Hlodze said it would provide the platform for executives of

TEIN and the various Regional Youth Organisers and resource

persons to brainstorm on initiatives that would strategically

position TEIN to attract, retain and sustain membership

throughout the country. "TEIN will also be re-oriented towards the growing needs of

the party so the organization can provide a solid research base and

to engage more in intellectually driven activities for the party

towards Victory 2012," Mr Hlodze stated. The conference would attract over 400 delegates from 87

tertiary Institutions and campuses nation-wide, including regional

youth organizers and their deputies, Ministers of state and

government appointees. Vice President John Dramani Mahama would open the

conference on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Aggrey Hall on

the South Campus of the University of Education, Winneba. The speakers include Dr Kwabena Adjei, the NDC National

Chairman, Mr P.V. Obeng, Chairman of the National Development

Planning Commission; Mr Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Deputy Minister

for Local Government and Rural Development; Mr Tsatsu Tsikata,
