The moment comes just days after South Dayi MP and NDC Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, publicly acknowledged Ebi Bright as his wife in a heartfelt birthday message.
Many Ghanaians were surprised by the revelation, as the couple had deliberately kept their family life private.
In the message, Dafeamekpor described Ebi Bright as “a brilliant woman, a sweet wife and a wonderful mother,” wishing her good health and strength to continue transforming Tema.
Ebi Bright, appointed as the first female Mayor of Tema in May 2025, has maintained a low public profile regarding her personal life, once explaining in an older interview that she chose to shield her marriage and children from the spotlight to protect them.
