Ghanaian musician Nero X has visited the residence of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.
A post shared by blogger Zionfelix on Instagram showed Nero X dressed in red, posing with the former president, who wore a smock over a pair of black trousers.
Following their discussion, the two shared a moment of joy, capturing a photo together with broad smiles.
This meeting came shortly after Nero X released a campaign song titled "Mahama for 2024," aimed at mobilizing support for the NDC ahead of the upcoming general elections.
In the song, Nero X urged the public to rally behind Mahama, portraying him as the best candidate to address the challenges faced under the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration and improve the lives of Ghanaians.
The lyrics of the song celebrated Mahama as the nation's savior during economic hardships, with some Twi lyrics stating: "In 2024, who is our choice? Mahama. Vote for Mahama. Everyone agrees he is the right person. Some have caused difficulties, so the NDC presents Mahama, the savior of Ghana. Let's support and elect him."
"Mahama for 2024" was uploaded to Nero X's official YouTube channel on June 19, 2024.
As the election season approaches, it is customary for some musicians to release songs endorsing their preferred political candidates, a tradition that has been embraced by artistes like Diana Asamoah, Daddy Lumba, Philipa Baafi, and others.
