The Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana, Arie C.A. Vander Wiel, has commended the ruling NPP Government for its good policies towards nation building.
Mr Wiel disclosed this when he paid a courtesy call on the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Nana Kwadwo Seinti in Sunyani.
He said the Netherlands Government would continue to promote the cordial relationship between the two Governments and called on Ghanaians to help in that direction.
The ambassador noted that his government is helping to improve health and water delivery systems in the country.
He added that for the past five years, the Netherlands Government has contributed 20million Euros to build the capacity of the health sector.
He pointed out that the medical exchange programme between the two countries must be sustained to improve upon health delivery.
The Ambassador later visited the Ultra-Modern Regional Hospital and was impressed with the facilities at the hospital. He advised the staff to maintain the equipment.
The Chief Superintendent in-charge of the hospital, Mr. Daniel Asare, expressed the hope that the relationship between both countries would go a long way to improve upon the health sector.
The Regional Minister Nana Kwadwo Seinti commended Netherlands for supporting Ghana in the health sector.
