The Concerned Citizens Group will rock Accra this morning with a demonstration against fuel price increases.
The demonstration is expected to start at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle at between 8.00 and 9.00 am from Barnnet.
The leader of the group, Mr. David Lawson, told the paper that the demonstration will proceed to the TUC area, pass through Makola, the Ministries and end at Parliament House.
-- THE INSIGHT
Reports pieced together by the paper have it that following a meeting at the Tema District Labour offices on Monday, between the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Ghana Employees Association (GEA), it was decided to call off the demonstration mainly because negotiations between the government and the TUC cannot be enhanced by the decision to demonstrate.
