A New Year’s Message From Kwabena Nketiah-Sakyi (NPP North America Youth Organizer)

“One of the great liabilities of life is that all too many people find themselves living amid a great period of social change and yet they fail to develop the new attitudes, the new mental responses that the new situations demands” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As we begin a new year, I encourage you to take a critical look at the current political transformation in Ghana and determine where you stand. I believe we have a moral duty to contribute our part to the development of our country. We may be too far away from home but we still have a choice to care or ignore the future of Ghana.

I invite you to join NPP North America Youth Wing. NPP believes in the rule of law, inclusiveness, distribution of wealth among all regions in Ghana, access to social services such as education and healthcare.

Fellow Ghanaian Youth in the Diaspora; do not sleep through this political transformation of our time. Develop the mental response that these new changes demand. Everyone is capable of using his or her God-given potential to help build our motherland.

Again, you have a choice to either work hard, make Ghana a better place for the children yet unborn or ignore them.

Furthermore, “At the end, it is not the years in your life that would be counted it is the life in your years” - Abraham Lincoln. Afe Nhyia Pa.
