Newly appointed Black Stars coach speaks

New Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has vowed to meet the expectations of Ghanaians, promising commitment and discipline as he begins his tenure.

Ghana have been drawn in a challenging group alongside England, Croatia, and Panama, with their campaign set to begin on June 17 in Toronto.

The 73-year-old edged out several high-profile candidates for the role, with his extensive international background proving decisive.

He has managed Portugal and Iran at multiple World Cups and is known for building organised, disciplined teams capable of competing against stronger opposition.

He has also held roles at top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, adding to his wealth of experience.
