Mr Henry Yeboah Boakye Yiadom, a 41 year old native from Nsuta in the Techiman Municipality has announced his decision to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) the Techiman south Parliamentary primaries for 2016 general elections.

Mr. Yeboah Boakye Yiadom who is Project officer for Development Foundation at Newmont Ahafo Mine says he would work to forge a united front and re-position the party to recapture political power in 2016.

The NPP would have to get its acts together, to focus on the mission of achieving resounding electoral victory in the next general poll to end the suffering of the people.

Mr Yeboah Boakye Yiadom believes this is something that will require dedicated, strong and dynamic leadership at all levels.

He said he is bringing these qualities on board to organise the party in the Constituency, which is the epicentre of NPP support.

“We certainly cannot afford to disappoint Ghanaians because they would not forgive us if we do that,” he said.

Mr. Yeboah Boakye Yiadom appealed to people who would put themselves up for the party’s internal elections to ensure a clean contest, free from acrimony and needless tension.
