Accra, March 3, GNA - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform all Ghanaian Pensioners, who served in the Nigerian Public Services, to call at the High Commission of the Federal Republic in Accra on Tuesday March 9.

A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mrs Joana Fosu, Acting Director, Information, Culture and Linguistics Bureau, said the meeting is in connection with their pension benefits. It noted that pensioners would be required to complete a verification form and provide copies of the following: an authority for pension, pension Identity cards and letters of first appointment/gazette. The rest are letters of retirement issued by the government, letters of promotion and two coloured passport photographs.

The statement also requests Mr Hayford Sakyi of Tema and Louis Sakyi to contact the legal and consular Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Room 308) for an important discussion.

In another development, the British High Commission in Accra wishes to inform the public that the visa section's new working hours are 0700 to 1045 hours from Monday to Thursday, and would be closed to the public on Fridays.

The Commission said the change is to ensure continuation of an efficient and effective service to all applicants.
