HRM Nii Ayibontey II, the Gbese Mantse and the Adonteng of the Ga State, joined Liberty University’s extensive network of world-class CEOs, US government representatives, Congressmen, innovators, and influencers who share common values of faith and friendship on the occasion of the annual CEO summit, which took place in Lynchburg, Virginia, on September 23-25, 2024.
Liberty University is the world’s third-largest Christian university community, with over 20,000 students on campus and online across more than 53 countries globally.
The 2024 CEO summit attracted world-renowned leaders from several Fortune 100 US companies, including Merrill Lynch, Hobby Lobby, BlackRock, Goya, Lowe's, CKE Restaurants, and other innovators from NASA, Microsoft, Google, as well as venture capitalists from Silicon Valley.
Notable attendees included the Provost of Liberty University, Prof. Tim Scott, and the former President of the World Bank, Dr. David Malpass. HRM Nii Ayibontey II and the Olu of Warri Kingdom were the special guests of honor.
As part of the summit, HRM Nii Ayibontey II graced the convocation ceremony of 10,000 students and engaged in a lecture session on African governance, sharing perspectives as a traditional authority from Ghana.
HRM’s team also engaged the Virginian State Chamber of Commerce and other companies to promote investment opportunities for the Gbese state in Greater Accra. As an immediate follow-up, an investment summit emanating from the visit will be scheduled imminently in Accra, for March 2025.
