Nii Lante Vandepuiye is creating problems in Accra'

They say his name is Nii Lante Vanderpuiye. They say he used to be a football Commentator. They say he used to be a Presidential Staffer.

They say presently he is a Member of Parliament of Odododiodoo constituency in Accra on the ticket of the National Deceivers Party, NDC also a Deputy Minister.

Truly the man has an impressive Curricula Vitae. But sadly this shimmering side of him does not translate to anything useful in modern society. Perhaps he is becoming too full of himself. So he is now too big having grown butterfly wings and he thinks he can fly. But he can’t fly. He is not a bird. His other side is ugly and stinks like KOOBI. All of a sudden this Nii Lante Vanderpuiye man is creating all the problems in Accra. He is now the biggest rabble- rouser around.

The man is full of hatred for NPP and for that matter the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition that his wish is to obliterate anything in connection with the cherished tradition.

He has even extended his madness into anti-Akan nuisance. The attempt to rename the National Hockey Pitch which is presently known as the "Thoedosia Okoh Hockey Stadium” to “John Evans Atta Mills Hockey Stadium”, apparently in honour of the memory of Prof Mills' achievements in the sport is all the dirty handiwork of the Nii Lantey Vandepiuye. It is a pity he has had a willing partner in his namesake Dr. Alfred Oko Vanderpujie, Mayor of Accra, the filthy conduit through which the latter is executing the iconoclastic schemes.

The fact that it was President Kufuor’s administration which in 2004 gave the name of the hockey field to Dr Theodora Okoh and also the fact that the woman is not a Ga --- I learn she is a noble daughter of glorious Akuapem – are the issues bothering the vindictive, and ethnocentric mind of Nii Lante Vanderpuiye. To Nii Lante, ‘strangers’ are taking over Accra lands and at the same time naming Accra monuments after ‘strangers’- no way, and in the usual NDC takashie, bugabuga nonsense; ‘, I no go sit down make them cheat Gas every day, no’. The great contributions of Mrs Okoh, a decorated and deeply respected national heroine to hockey and the nation were lost on the minds of the hate filled Vanderpuiyes. Thank God, the Presidency reversed the unpopular Vandepuiye decision some hours ago and the hockey stadium is to remain as ‘Thoedosia Okoh Hockey Stadium’.

Reports indicate that agrateful Theodosia Oko has declared her intention to kiss the president’s legs in appreciation of his order to halt attempts by AMA boss to rename the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium after the late President Atta Mills. This shows how passionate hockey was to Theo. The whole episode was blatantly unwarranted and the Vandepuiyes must be ashamed of themselves. Of course the Presidency was part of the grand scheme and the reverse order was just a damage control which is not lost on minds of serious observers.

Further, I reveal that the renaming of Jubilee House and Ohene Djan Stadium both originated from the vile and poisonous mind of Nii Lante Vandepuiye when he was at the castle idling and planning vicious schemes as Presidential Staffer. On Metro TV on Thursday (25/7/13) morning he said that the Plange family of Osu were the original owners of the Accra stadium land and since the late Ohene Djan had a feud with the Plange family, AMA decided to remove the name Ohene Dian from the stadium. How petty! Readers must draw their conclusions as to the sort of person Nii Lante Vandepuiye is for championing the idea that a mere family feud must override a national interest. Again, the name Edward Akufo Ado given to the Cantonments roundabout in Accra by Kufuor ‘s administration to honour the nationalist and a stalwart of Ghana’s Big Six of the 1950’s, was removed from the landmark by Atta Mills administration under mysterious circumstances under the nihilist Nii Lante Vanderpuiye’s sinister manouverings. How I wish President Mahama orders immediate reversals to the Ohene Djan stadium and the Akufo Ado Roundabout.

Readers should know that the names, George Walker Bush Highway, Kotoka International Airport, Dr. J. B. Danquah Circle, Obetsebi-Lamptey Circle and Ako Adjei Circle are all holding because they were not given by Kufuor’s administration (Danqua-Busia-Dombo tradition) or if they did it the names given were not Akan names. Vanderpuiye and his extremely fiendish cronies definitely act if the two conditions –which they regard as repellent-exist at the same time.

This Nii Lante Vandepuiye man is divisive. During the last biometric registration towards the 2012 general elections, he displayed his damnable fiendish character when he openly spearheaded a brutal force to prevent Ghanaians bearing Akan names and domiciled or mostly doing business in Odododiodoo to register in the constituency. Of course this singular ethnocentric act by the Nii Lante Vandepuiye hit squad created several nasty scuffles, some of which engulfed Ursula Owusu and Ken Agyapong. The least said about those incidents the better.

It is an open secret that Nii Lante Vandepuiye, is still the dirty hand behind the Kantamanto market fire. Kantamanto has been the target of Vandepuiye from day one for political reasons. The mad arsonist just played the game with the wicked intention to reduce NPP influence in Odododiodoo Constituency by torching the market to scatter the Akan traders to help maintain a perpetual NDC hold at the constituency. All the other fires at Aloboshie, Makola, Pedestrian Mall, Tema etc are replicas orchestrated to rationalize the Kantamanto conflagration to divert attention and reduce the pressure..No one should be deceived by the NDC takashie goon backed by the John Mahama administration wich is dancing Azonto with some USA crack fire investigation to confuse Ghjanaians.

Nii Lante Vanderpuiye is creating all the problems in Accra. Somebody should tell him to cool it. Overall, I am still crackimg my head to understand why Dr. Alfred Okoh Vandepuiye trained and experienced in USA decency should be particapating in this tomfoolery.
