As the people of Teshie gather to celebrate this year’s Homowo festival, the esteemed overlord of Teshie Traditional Area and head of Nuumo Okang Nmashie Family, has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to every member of the community.

Homowo, a time-honoured festival, is a significant celebration that marks the remembrance of a bountiful harvest and reflects the community's resilience and unity.

Nii Okang Duamro Nmashie III extends warm wishes for Homowo festival emphasized the importance of this season as an opportunity for reflection and togetherness.

According to him, this year’s Homowo will bring peace, tranquility, and unity to the people of Teshie.

Nii Okang Duamro Nmashie III extends warm wishes for Homowo festival, Head of the Nuumo Okang Nmashie Family, Teshie Mankralo in his message, called upon all Teshie residents to embrace the festival's spirit fully as he lifts the embargo on noise making on August 30, 2024.

He encouraged participants to celebrate not only the harvest of the past but also the hope and promise of what is to come. As the drums beat and the festive meals are shared, he urges the community to strengthen the bonds that hold them together and to look forward to a future filled with blessings and prosperity.
