Nkosuohene donates computers to school

Aputuogya (Ash), Sept. 4, GNA - Nana Kan Agyemang, Nkosuohene of Sawuah-Aboaso resident in Germany, has donated four computers valued at about 100 million cedis to the Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District Education Office and the Sawuah-Aboaso Junior Secondary School. He also donated a set of encyclopaedia to the school.

Making the donation to the District Education Directorate on Tuesday, Nana Agyemang said his desire was to raise the level of education in the area.

He, therefore, charged the office to ensure that the computers were put to maximum use to broaden the scope of pupils in the area for them to achieve higher laurels.

Mrs Gladys Asamani, Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District Director of Education, who received the computers, expressed appreciation to the donor and asked other citizens from the area to emulate him. She appealed to Nana Agyemang to assist the District Education Office with a photocopier.

Speaking to the GNA after the donation, Nana Agyemang, who arrived in Ghana with two German students from the University of Kiel, said they were in the country to undertake education programmes.
