A former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Professor Stephen Adei, has indicated that Pastor Mensa Otabil, founder and leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), has chalked so much success and made a lot of achievements that put him in a class way above all Ghanaian presidents.
According to Prof Adei, the founder of the Central University has contributed immensely to job creation in the country, thereby helping to reduce unemployment.
He observed that rather than celebrate him, some persons especially in the past administration insulted and denigrated him in the media.
Speaking during the Business Round Table in Accra on Wednesday May 31, Prof Adei said: “In this country, the time has come that we must value business activities as the world creators and that individual achievement is highly rated.
“I don’t want my brother Otabil’s head to sweet him with this, the amount of people who are being educated and employed because of him, no president of Ghana compares to him and yet until recently the only thing you will hear about him in the official radio and other media is insult.
“I never heard one praise for him.”
He added: “I align myself with young men like Beige Capital. The other time I checked he employs 2500 people.”
