Former First Lady Lordina Mahama has not been involved in any gun incident and is hale and hearty with her family.
A statement denying reports from a phony news website said there had been no armed attack or robbery at the residence of former President John Dramani Mahama.
The former First Family has been inundated with phone calls from concerned friends and relatives since the false publication on social media last night.
The statement, signed by Joyce B. Mogtari, Special Aide to the former President, described as false the news of an attack, and claims that large sums of monies were stolen by the robbers.
“Indeed, the residence of the former First Family is secured by personnel of the Ghana Police Service and National Security. Neither the Mahama household nor the former First Lady has spoken to any police officer about a robbery that never occurred", the statement concluded.
