Seventeen persons who were among the victims of the accident that occurred at Nsawam, have been discharged from the Nsawam Government hospital.
Accra FM’s Eastern regional correspondent, Kofi Michel who visited the hospital in the early hours of Friday January 26 , reported on the Ghana Yensom show : “Eight persons have died, seventeen of the victims have been discharged from the hospital and two are still on admission.”
The accident occurred on Thursday, 25 January, 2018.
The accident happened when an articulated truck ran into a VIP Bus travelling to Accra from Kumasi.
Officials of the National Disaster Management Organisation, (NADMO) from the Ayensuano district, Police and the Fire Service were on the scene to lend a hand to survivors and to help ease traffic.
