Reverend Sylvanus Adjei Brown, Head Pastor of Shiloh Temple of Central Gospel Church, has urged the youth, especially those on facebook to use the internet positively by posting inspiring and motivating gospel messages.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Singles Ministry of the Church at Obuasi, he said postings of filthy messages on the internet are uncalled for.

He described the current generation as deficient in the word of God because they have time for material and worldly pursuits rather than the gospel of truth and salvation.

Rev Adjei Brown said the best time to serve God well is when one is single because marriage comes with a lot of responsibilities and commitment, which reduce one’s total devotion to the service of God.

“Marriage comes with a lot of responsibilities that take a chunk of your time, energy and resources,” he said.

Rev Charles Adu-Twumasi, Northern Sector Manager of the Bible Society of Ghana, who was a special guest at the function, said God needs dedicated and committed young men and women to work in his vine yard.

He, therefore, charged members of the Singles Ministry to avail themselves of divine opportunity.

A 10-member executive under the leadership of Ms Lydia Acquah was inducted into office to run the affairs of the Ministry, which aims primarily at upholding purity and service to the Lord and mankind irrespective of their marital status and circumstances.
