The Office of President-elect John Dramani Mahama has disassociated itself from circulating lists purported to contain the names of individuals nominated for ministerial appointments.
This was stated in a release issued and signed by Special Aide Felix Ofosu Kwakye on January 4, 2024.
The statement clarified that the lists did not originate from the Office of the President-elect and urged the public to disregard them.
The statement further assured the public that official announcements regarding ministerial nominations would be communicated through recognised and appropriate channels at the proper time.

The Office of the President-elect has noted the circulation of various lists containing names of individuals purported to be nominees for ministerial positions.
These lists do not emanate from the office of the President-elect, and the public is encouraged to disregard them.
Official channels will be used to communicate any such nominations to the public at the appropriate time.
