Accra Hearts of Oak has officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Benjamin Asare from Accra Great Olympics with the hope that his arrival will strengthen their goalkeeping position ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The club, known as the Phobians, shared the news on their official social media platforms with a welcoming message:
"OFFICIAL Welcome Home Numero Uno, Benjamin Asare. Phooobia Masters!!!!!"
Benjamin Asare, who finished the previous season with the most clean sheets, is expected to bring stability to the Hearts of Oak goalkeeping lineup.
Head coach Aboubakar Ouattara confirmed the news during a press conference on Thursday. The Accra-based club is currently preparing for the upcoming season, hoping to improve upon their performance from last year.
