According to him, the group could not have achieved this without the support of the members of that year.

He, however, pledges to serve his colleagues to the best of his ability since there are much more activities to be done for the school in order to compete equally with their peers from the region.

Giving a brief history on how the group was formed, Mr Obeng Siaw stated that after they left school in 2000, they all went their separate ways, some furthered their education, others started their own businesses whilst the rest of his mates travelled abroad to seek for greener pastures.

“Currently, we have almost all the various levels of careers in our mist, some amongst us are Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Teachers/Lecturers, Accountants, Politicians, Contractors, High-level farmers, Agric superintendents, IT and Communication Professionals. This represents a true reflection of determined individuals with a solid academic foundation,” he said.

“On the 15th day of November 2014, a lady by name Frances Nunoo created a WhatsApp group to help bring us together again as one big family. Currently, we have managed to bring together 135 of our colleagues and it is our hope to attract the rest of them because it is our belief that there is strength in numbers and we can do wonders with a good number who are very active on the platform” he added.

'Nananom' 2000-year-group later paid tribute to their colleagues who have departed to eternity and asked the Lord to give them eternal rest.
