One dead; four injured in fatal road crash

An 18-year-old girl died at the spot in a gory accident at Nyamebekyere, off the Mamfe-Koforodua road in the Eastern region.

Three other persons on board the vehicle sustained various degrees of injuries and have been rushed to the Koforidua regional Hospital.

The accident occurred when the driver of a Toyota Corolla saloon car with registration number GR 7907-15 who was allegedly over speeding lost control of the vehicle and ran into a ditch Saturday morning.
