President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says it would take only his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to transform Ghana for good.

The president made this remark while addressing delegates at the NPP’s National Delegates Conference in Accra on Sunday, December 22, emphasizing the fact that no other political party is capable of attaining such a feat.

“We have a responsibility, and the responsibility is that the transformation of Ghana that the people of Ghana are looking for cannot take place without the NPP in office.

“Our party is the only party capable of engineering and masterminding the transformation of Ghana to a prosperous and forward-looking country and economy. The NPP is the only party in our present situation that can do that so let us stand together.”

According to the president, his government has worked tirelessly in the past three years to develop Ghana.

The president claimed it is for this reason many Ghanaians are calling for him to be retained to serve a second term.

“What I have seen is the strong support of the Ghanaian people for the work that we have done. All over the country and everywhere I go, I am being met by a large crowd of enthusiastic people, they are the ones who began the ‘4-more for Nana.”

President Akufo-Addo further said he has been on the road since assuming power to ensure all projects and initiatives are implemented for the growth of the country.

He therefore charged members of the NPP to be united and work hard towards ensuring the NPP retains power in 2020 with an emphatic victory.

“We have a responsibility to stay together and with that, I am very confident by the Grace of the almighty, that on the 7th and 8th 2020, we are going to hear once again, good news in Ghana here.

“The Electoral Commission will declare victory for the NPP presidential candidate, and for the New Patriotic Party in the elections that are coming forward in the year 2020,” President Akufo-Addo stressed.
