The current Regional Secretary of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives’ Association (GRNMA), Prince Opuni Frimpong is stepping up to manage the affairs of the Association as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman.
Unopposed Mr. Opuni Frimpong is expected to receive a massive endorsement as the GRNMA elect executives for the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday, March 11, 2020.
“My unrelenting spirit endeared me to many and this led to calls on me to stand for the Regional Chairman of Greater Accra,” he told a section of the media in Accra.
Nurses and Midwives are set to endorse his candidature based on his track record as their General Secretary, he explained that it is against this backdrop that the entire Region is rallying behind him.
He has spelt out his tailored-thematic areas, which he said he is confident will make the Region the envy of all when he is made the Regional Chairman.
The areas include:

“The strategies for the implementation of the thematic areas are home-based and I will deliver as I have the track record and I believe all Nurses and Midwives will Vote Yes so that Prince Opuni Frimpong will continue the good work he has for the Region,” he asserted.
Under his watch, the Region has been able to generate adequate revenue to fund its activities. Described by his colleague as a “very prudent man by all standards”, he said the welfare of members within the Region would be his number one priority.
