After Snubbing Prez Mills;

Otabil Snubs Prez Mahama

… But Men Of God Put Him To Shame!

The General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil, the renowned political preacher currently in Ghana, has once again showed his true NPP colours, by excusing himself from President Mahama’s invitation to Ghana’s respected clergy.

After refusing to attend all the national prayer sessions organised under the auspices of His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills, the NPP pastor, has once again spat in the face of another NDC President.

When true men-of-God had gathered at the Castle Gardens on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, to pray for the nation to go through a peaceful election, Pastor Mensa Otabil was nowhere to be found.

Checks ran by The Informer has it that the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), was invited alright, but he chose not to show up.

“He was invited but we were told that he was out of the country, so when we saw him at the IEA debate, we were very surprised”; a Castle source told The Informer.

Certainly, a leopard cannot change its spots, and especially so, in the wake of the gargantuan embarrassment that has come his way as result of his double-standards, Pastor Mensa Otabil chose not to be among the “gathered saints”.

The absence of Mensa Otabil, however, could not prevent Ghana’s heavy weights of the Christian world from being present at the Castle Gardens to pray for the wellbeing and welfare of Mother Ghana.

The True men-of-God who have the nation at heart, responded to His Excellency President John Mahama’s invitation, and gathered to ask for God’s guidance and care, as the Election Day draws near.

Thank God that Mensa Otabil is not the only man of God in Ghana.

Indeed, it was interesting to observe that some of the pastors who Otabil may have thought were on his side, were all present at the Osu Castle.

For sure, the other men of God respect the authority of the State and also believe that it is God who appoints rulers, and so, were not about to spit in the face of His Excellency President John Mahama.

In the case of Mensa Otabil, he does not believe in the authority of State (he believes in his “sovereignty”), and also does not believe that God appoints rulers, and so chose to disrespect His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama’s invitation.

As the Bible says; “By their fruits ye shall know them”.

Mensa Otabil is a tree that has borne NPP fruits; and by his fruits, we know that he is an NPP apparatchik who does not respect the authority of state, and does not respect His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama.
