A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team and the Public Relations Officer for the National Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Awal Mohammed, believes that the NPP has a superior message ahead of the 2024 elections.

He says the political party does not need to force people to register during the limited registration exercise because the message has resonated with the people, and they will be retained to ensure Ghana enjoys the needed development.

He was speaking on Accra-based GhOne Television.

"If the person is eighteen years of age or older, register the person. We have a superior message: they believe in us and will vote for us. We will never prevent anyone from registering, except if the person is a minor or a foreigner."

"Today, the NDC is saying that Fulanis should not be registered. I heard this from the Deputy General Secretary yesterday. When you have a Fulani man as an MP in Adenta, but you're telling us not to register Fulanis just because they will vote for Dr. Bawumia, it's not right."

"As a political party, we believe that every Ghanaian who is eighteen years of age or older and qualifies should be registered on the roll. That way, later, we can approach the person, talk to them, and explain what we will do to help them so that they will vote for us," he said.
