The distribution of the insecticides in the Ashanti Region will start on Thursday November 15th to Wednesday 21st November according to the Ghana Health Service.

It will be recalled that the National Health Services last month conducted a registration exercise to get everyone registered in the region.
According to the regional director, over 3million people have registered and will soon get the Bed Nets.
"The total number of allocated nets for the distribution is 3,674,680 and the number of household registered are 1,630,99. The date for distribution exercise will start on Thursday 15th of November to Wednesday 21st November"
"Distribution point will be created in all the various communities. Kindly take your card to your designated distribution point in your community for your nets "
He also warned those who couldn't registered not go to the place of distribution because they will not be given anything.
"I'm warning those who didn't register not to go to any of the distribution point because we can't do anything for them. We are currently working on those we have on our data"
He also advised beneficiaries of the nets to hang it for 48 hours and more in an open space under shade before he/she sleeps in it to reduce any side effects.
