PAOG urges all accredited Hajj agents to strictly comply with official payment guidelines
The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has reminded all accredited Hajj agents to strictly comply with official payment guidelines by using their unique code numbers and ensuring that every transaction includes verifiable details.
In a statement issued by its Communications Directorate, PAOG emphasised that individual pilgrims who wish to make direct payments may do so through the office’s official account with GCB Bank (Account Number: 1681130001682).
Such pilgrims are required to present their pay-in slips at the PAOG Secretariat to begin the official travel documentation process.
The office further confirmed that some prospective pilgrims, groups, and accredited agents have already begun paying the approved GH¢60,000 fare for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.
Chairman of the Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana, Alhaji Abdul-Rauf Tanko Ibrahim, expressed appreciation to those who have commenced payments and reaffirmed confidence in the accredited agents managing the process.
He assured that payments made through GCB Bank, the PAOG’s official banking partner, will guarantee a smooth and transparent process ahead of next year’s pilgrimage.
The PAOG encouraged all prospective pilgrims to follow the official payment procedures to avoid any inconveniences as preparations for the 2026 Hajj continue.
