Former Chief Executive Officer of GNPC, Alex Mould has said that the PDS deal will go down memory lane as one of the cases where government exhibited political corruption and planned it carefully to suit their family and friends.
In a Facebook post Alex Mould said the PDS deal shows how a simple rule of ‘contract formation’ was twisted for ‘'parochial interest', greed and a spirit of domineering’
He urged Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko to take advantage of technology to educate himself on the meaning of "State Capture" after he attacked Mahama over his state capturing comment in the Akufo-Addo government.
Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko earlier tweeted that the use of state ‘State Capture’ by former President John Dramani Mahama and the former CEO of GNPC to describe President Akufo-Addo-led government’s involvement in the ongoing PDS saga was unwarranted.
Alex Mould, reacting to this stated, that Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko’s attempt to twist the meaning of “state capture” appears to be a diversionary tactic or an effort on their part to insulate beforehand, weekly scandals that may be unfolding.
He also added that the “PDS scandal is a typical illustration of political corruption which was well-couched to satisfy some family and friends of the President. It clearly demonstrates how ineptitude was deliberately made to replace due diligence to twist simple rules with regard to 'contract formation' because of 'parochial interests', greed and a spirit of domineering.”

Alex Mould schools Gabby on State Capture 101
It is rather unfortunate, unsurprising though, that with no shame, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has tried to twist the meaning of "State Capture" either to whimsically divert attention from the family and friends PDS scandal or to insulate beforehand, weekly scandals that may be unfolding.
I don't need to educate Gabby on "state capture" especially when technological advancement has made it possible to access education anywhere via these technological gadgets.
PDS scandal is a typical illustration of political corruption which was well-coached to satisfy some family and friends of the President. It clearly demonstrates how ineptitude was deliberately made to replaced due diligence to twist simple rules with regard to 'contract formation' because of 'parochial interest', greed and a spirit of domineering.
These avoidable mishaps in the PDS deal occurred because some 'sponsored' private individuals with clear support from Flagstaff House were in a "hurry" to execute the agenda for purposes of rent-seeking.
The Flagbearer of the NDC, H E. John Dramani Mahama, was right on point inter alia when he describes the 'parochial, self-serving" PDS deal as a typical illustration of a 'worsening situation of 'State Capture' under Nana Akuffo Addo's administration.
If Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko cannot define the PDS scandal as "State capture" then what is it?
