It was a night of bliss and glamour at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The 19th edition of the award which came off at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) saw several celebrities and fans alike thronging the premises for the event.
After several weeks of debate over who will take the envied spot this year, Late Dancehall act, Ebony Reigns was awarded artiste of the year posthumously.
While self-acclaimed Dancehall King earned just a single spot as Best collaboration of the year with his song 'Taking Over', rising act, Kuame Eugene swept 2 awards and 2017 Artiste of the year, Joe Mettle took home four. 'One Corner' hit maker, Patapaa who got fans talking with his seemingly 'oversized' suit however failed to secure the most popular song award as he lost to Fancy Gadam who won with his track; Total Cheat.
Hosts Berla Mundi and John Dumelo had their own version of 'fun' on stage with some humor in between, cracking fans up and livening the atmosphere.
