Watch a playback of Adom TV's morning show, Badwam.
Major issue that came up during the discussion on Thursday’s edition of the show was the confiscation of five vehicles at the residence of the NDC National Organiser, Kofi Adams.
On Wednesday 1st February 2017, some men said to be from the military, national security and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) invaded the residence of Kofi Adams at Tema Golf City confiscating his three pickups and two landcruisers.
Meanwhile, National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah made a phone call to Kofi Adams apologising over the matter saying neither he nor the government authorized the raiding of his house on Wednesday.
Former President Mahama also in a facebook post condemned the seizure of Kofi Adams’ vehicles. He stated, “The unprovoked attacks on NDC functionaries and supporters are needless and must end. Yesterday the National Organiser of the NDC's residence was invaded by security men from the seat of Government, the Flagstaff House in his absence, in search of vehicles when they knew very well they were on the wrong path. This must end”.
Show host Omanhene Kwabena Asante was joined by Alexander Afenyo Markin, MP for Effutu and Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, former MP for Ablekuma Central to have a discussion on the trendy political issues in the country.
