Saturday's edition of Newsfile was packed with interesting topics that made the headlines during the week.

Prominent among issues discussed was the revealing contradictions emerging from the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry set up to probe issues surrounding recent clashes during the Ayawaso West Wuogon polls.

The committee which began sitting on Thursday February 14 had the three Ministers in charge of security matters appear for their testimony and questioning. Minister in Charge of National Security, Bryan Acheampong, National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah and Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery all made appearance before the committee and answered various questions in their capacities.

Friday saw East Legon Police Commander, DSP George Asare and Director of Operation at the Ghana Police Service, DCOP George Alex Mensah, also answer to members of the committee.

Answers from these sessions however suggest some level of contradictions and has raised concerns.
